About Us

The Burlington Basketball Club was incorporated as a not-for-profit youth basketball sports association in 1973 as Minor Basketball Association of Burlington (MBAB).  Eventually it collaborated with Burlington’s Rep Basketball program to create Burlington Basketball.  Today, Burlington Basketball runs a variety of programs for youth from 4 – 19 years old.  The club offers Steve Nash Youth Basketball (SNYB), for 4 – 8 year olds, 3 on 3 developmental programs and leagues, various levels of house league programming and a successful and growing rep basketball program (Burlington Force).

Burlington Basketball is determined to grow the sport of Basketball in our community, while using it as a vehicle to teach “life skills”, while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle in our members and their families.

As an organization, Burlington Basketball strives to ……

  • a rewarding experience for players and parents that could grow and thrive as a premier program in the City of Burlington and in Ontario’s basketball community;
  • a program to continue to distinguish through our ability to develop skilled basketball players competing at the elementary, high school, regional, provincial, and national levels through the quality of our provincially certified, highly experienced coaching staff and our hard-working managers and administrators;
  • a club strongly unified in delivering the highest quality programs to develop the fundamentals of team and individual play with emphasizing the values of sportsmanship and fair play;
  • an open, transparent member-based association, committed to good governance, accountability and integrity.

 We’re excited about the future

and ready to soar!
