WNBA ONCE A WEEK High School Girls (Grades 9 and Up)

Based on a once a week, 12/14 week program, players learn from coaches committed to teaching individual skills in the latest Canada Basketball recommended manner.  A 30 Minute practice (skills and drills) and a 60 minute game.

Each successive year builds on fundamentals learned at earlier ages.  Opportunities to “catch up” on skills missed by not playing in a previous year are always available.

Why it Works? By playing one game a week and then practicing the following Saturday, players are able to make mistakes on game night, work on solutions at practice and then repeat the process the following week.  This is ideal for building self-confidence and learning how practice can make you better at anything.
