Burlington Basketball Boys Representing the FORCE at FIBA McMaster 3v3!
We’ve talked recently about the benefits of 3v3 basketball as a great learning tool for youth players. Yep, we’ve even developed a 3 vs. 3 League Program. Well, many of our boys are taking part in tournaments throughout the region. These ones have learned well!
Congratulations to the “Force 4” U14 Boys
U14 FORCE boys Stefan Njegovan, Marcus Maesano, Simeon Jeffers and Luke Trojanowski recently participated in the FIBA 3v3 Tournament held at McMaster University (June 16, 2018). It was a great day with plenty of teams competing across age groups. How did the boys do? They took home top spot, winning their age grouping by going undefeated for the day.
The boys owe it all to themselves as these coaching-free games are played fast – with players having to adjust on the fly, call their own time outs and substitutions.
Marcus and Stefan again teamed up the next week by participating in the Pelham Panthers 3 on 3 tournament held at Brock University. There they teamed up with Nick Galli and Anthony Ragonetti and together, finished 5-1 with their loss coming in an exciting championship game!
A great effort and for all Burlington Basketball members across FORCE-land, look out for great tournaments throughout Ontario and get in on the action!
[Oh, and make sure you share how you did so we can spread the news!]
