Shooting is the most difficult skill for a basketball player to master. It requires proper stance, balance, hand placement, arm extension, and expert follow-through. It is one of the most important elements of a player’s game. Improper mechanics will severely limit a basketball player’s success at every level.
“You can practice shooting eight hours a day, but if your technique is wrong, then all you become is very good at shooting the wrong way. Get the fundamentals down and the level of everything you do will rise.” – Michael Jordan
At Burlington Basketball, we’re focused on youth development in sport and beyond. Learn more about our other camp programs including summer camps and introductory basketball camps for little ones. Also, we run great house league play and rep level competitive teams, too!
